Baby Massage focusses on nurturing and enhancing the bond between mum/carer and baby in the postnatal period, also referred to as the 4th trimester.
During this class you’ll learn baby massage techniques, whilst practicing gentle, nourishing yoga breathing techniques for mum/carer. The class allows Mum/carer time to take stock and simply breath, this is more important than ever during the postnatal period. This is a baby massage class, but we will incorporate simple yoga breathing techniques, that are easily integrated into daily life and can provide relief for stress and anxiety, we will also include pelvic floor exercises, and do some relaxation at the end. This class is suitable for mums/carers and babies, as soon as you feel you are ready to join the class after the wee one arrives.
You’ll need a mat for baby to lie on, a cushion/ yoga blocks for you to sit on, a blanket for relaxation, a drink of water and anything else that baby might need during the class.
The class will run face to face and online, giving you the flexibility to join in a way that suits you and baby best. The face to face classes will be run in a COVID 19 safe manner, but please note and we may be required to revert to fully online, should government guidelines on face to face classes change. Please only book if you are able to attend online if need be, in the event that government guidelines change. Please also be aware that all classes are non-transferable and non refundable.
