The Wise Ones is a fun, functional movement based class fusing yoga, tai chi and Chi Gung for older participants, or anyone finding that their mobility is reduced. This class is currently being delivered face to face and online via zoom.
This class is carried out standing, but can also be performed in a chair as well. Everyone will have a chair to hand if they need it. The class involves gentle and flowing movements. We will work with a system called the body clock flow, where we will move energy around our body and reset our own body clock as we do. There will also be breathing practice to fully use our lungs, and we will work with areas of the body, such as the hands and feet, to ensure we keep them as mobile as possible.
The class lasts for around 1 hour and must be booked in advance.
