I now run my very own mini yoga retreats which I’ve called “Petite Retreats”. These mini yoga retreats last 1.5-2 hours and include a restorative session of pranayama (breath control techniques), guided meditation, gentle yoga asana (postures) flow, and an extended Yoga Nidra practice.
If you’d like to escape the stresses and strains of everyday life for a couple of hours, then this deep relaxation session could be the answer you’ve been looking for. Let the tension and pressures simply melt away, and leave the retreat feeling relaxed, released and rejuvenated, and with some additional tools up your sleeve to help you cope practically with stress on a day to day basis.
In these sessions you will be taken through a seated pranayama practice, followed by a guided meditation. You will then be lead through a gentle seasonal yoga asana flow, and finish off with an extended Yoga Nidra practice. You’ll leave feeling like a shiny new person, and maybe even get a good nights sleep into the bargain !!
The Petite Retreats tend to run once a season (6 times a year, as we work with the traditional Chinese calendar, which has 6 seasons), so keep your eyes peeled for the next one being announced.
What do you need to bring along ? yourself, a yoga mat, blanket, cushion, and most importantly, an open mind.
I hope to see you at the next one.
